British Airways has almost rebuilt its short haul network at London Gatwick.

Some routes such as Algiers, Funchal, Naples, Porto and Tirana remain at London Heathrow.

Others such as Edinburgh are no longer served at Gatwick. Former Gatwick routes such as Bilbao and Genoa are suspended entirely.

Former Gatwick routes not immediately served before COVID-19 such as Athens, Madrid and Milan Malpensa return.

A smaller schedule will operate in the winter months. BA is yet to confirm its winter schedule and whether seasonal routes will return.

At the South Terminal, BA has reopened its Club and First lounges. Overnight bag drop is now available at the South Terminal from 18:00 to 21:00 for flights departing before 13:00 the next day.

At Gatwick BA codeshares with Aer Lingus, Air Baltic, Iberia Express and Vueling.

You can also see our dedicated BA long haul route network page and short haul network pages for London City and Heathrow.

Aircraft Wet Leases

BA is wet leasing aircraft from a number of airlines throughout the summer.

Some flights throughout the summer are operated by Iberia Express.

The airline is also leasing Boeing 757 aircraft from Titan Airways to cover a small number of flights. This is expected to continue until at least June 2022.

Passengers should be messaged directly in advance their flight is operated by another airline.

Flights may move between BA and other airlines and back throughout the summer.
