Here are the latest updates on BA flights at London City, Gatwick & Heathrow airports.

Middle East Flight Disruption

BA flights to Doha, Dubai and Tel Aviv are suspended until at least 30 June 2026.

Flights to Jeddah are suspended permanently from 24 April. Services to Riyadh are due to resume from mid-May.

Services to Amman and Bahrain are not expected to resume until late October.

BA will add a 2nd daily flight to Bengaluru and Nairobi from 1 June. Delhi, Hyderabad and Mumbai will also benefit from capacity increases.

Winter 2026 Long Haul Expansion

BA has also announced a significant long-haul expansion for the Winter 2026 season.

A new year-round route from Heathrow to Melbourne via Kuala Lumpur will launch on 9 January 2027.

A new non-stop winter seasonal service from Gatwick to Columbo launches on 23 October, operating 3 times weekly.  This was previously operated via Male.

Winter seasonal flights San Jose, Costa Rica move from Gatwick to Heathrow and will increase to 5 times weekly. Tampa will also move to Heathrow year-round from 25 October.

Gatwick will regain a winter seasonal service to Barbados, with onward tags to Grenada, Guyana and Tobago.  St Lucia will become a standalone service.

Also at Gatwick, Kingston and Punta Cana benefit from frequency increases.

At Heathrow, Baltimore, Cape Town, Delhi, Houston, New Orleans and Tokyo Haneda also benefit from frequency increases.
